What to wear to an outdoor training

Much of our work takes place in the outdoors. We will offer you a variety of activities which will not be strenuous. In our experience, everyone is capable of participating.

Please bring clothes that are fit for the outdoors. Always make sure to bring an extra set of dry clothes, and a rain jacket.
For hot weather, it is best to wear thin, cotton clothes. An old t-shirt, shorts etc. usually do the job fine.
For cold weather, it is best to wear several thin layers on top of each other, with a water and wind proof jacket. Make sure to also bring a woolen sweater, a fleece jacket or something alike.

Sports shoes or hiking boots are a good choice for your feet. Preferably high laced shoes, for they will protect your ankles when you're walking on uneven ground, or in the forrest. Do not wear shoes with slippery plastic or leather soles. They are a sure ticket for sliding on wet grass or leaves.

Both your clothes and shoes may get wet or dirty, so you may want to bring old clothes. You can change clothes at the venue, but it saves time if you are already wearing your outdoor clothes on arrival.

Leave jewellery and valuable watches at home, in your car, or in the clasroom. Whatever you loose outdoors, you will not find back.

People who wear glasses, may want to bring a case for them.

If you're not sure what to wear, you may take a look at the Dutch teletekst weatherforecast.
