"Seen in the Dark" is an experiential exhibition that you as a visitor are part of. Places like a street, park, market and cafe have been rebuilt to life. And everything is pitch dark. In the park, the pathways consist of a different underground, which you can feel with your feet, and hear by walking. Smell and feel the plants, recognize the objects by touching them. What is there for sale in the market place? Do you have the guts to cross the street? Surpass yourself, and order a drink in our bar, and then pay, in the dark, as if you do it every day. Take a seat at a table, and take your time to exchange experiences and ask questions to the guide. "Seen in the dark" Open until September 1, 1999, from Thursday to Sunday, from 10.00 to 17.00. Address: Grote Hout of Koningsweg 35, Velsen-Noord, Holland.
